Do you ever feel like you’re drifting around with no direction? Are you lacking the motivation to get things started? If the answer is yes, then you may benefit from a coach.
Different Types Of Coaches
There are many different kinds of coaches who can help you in a variety of ways.
I’ve recently had some experience with business coaching and it’s proving to be invaluable to the business I’m working with. They’re keeping the whole team motivated, enthused and coming up with new ways in which to grow the business.
I know of a wonderful woman who’s frequenting the media lately. She’s a love coach and can help you find the relationship you want and teach you how to communicate in a relationship.
7 Reasons Why You Need A Coach
Identify what it is you need. It can be difficult to be objective when you’re on the inside looking out. A coach can help to see where you are and where you need to be objectively.
Focus. A coach will keep your goal in mind and help you head in the right direction. Keep in sight what you want.
Accountability. Do you ever start to do something and find yourself being distracted? A coach will keep you accountable and make sure you’re staying on target and doing the things you set out to do. Often it helps to have someone to answer to.
Encourages. A coach will cheer you on and encourage you to not give up. Your own personal support team.
Guides. It’s all too easy to take the wrong path when trying to be successful. A coach will guide you on the right path for the business you are in.
Mapping. Sometimes you just can’t see how to turn things around, a coach will map out all the things you need to do and when you need to do them.
Gap Filler. As strange as that may sound, a coach will identify gaps in social structure and in the workforce and help you to build a closer stronger unit.
What Does A Coach Actually Do?
A prime example here would be Jaimie Crooks. Jamie is a fantastic executive coach. Whats an executive coach? Well, this person would ordinarily work with high-end employees or, as the name suggests, executives. They are someone who would influence, guide, inform and help ensure the goals set out by the client s are met. Ordinarily, the client would set out what the end goal would be, what points they would like to achieve and in what timescale. The Executive coach will ensure the client meets these goals and help hold the client accountable. A coach will help the client see past the immediate goals or obstacles and look to what the future needs will be. The coach will often be like a mirror, the only person who can be brutal in outlining any problems or shortfalls. Jamie’s website can be found here.
Do I Need One?
I guess that’s the million dollar question. I would recommend a coach. Someone who can keep you to your goals. Someone who can help you achieve those goals. The benefits of having a coach far outways any doubts you could have. Something to remember is that a coach will guide you with will be making achievable goals, making decisions that are in the best interest of all parties involved and to help you achieve what you want.
