A little thing that gets overlooked, but is an essential part of a perfect kitchen, is cutlery! Get rid of all your old cutlery and replace it all with a fresh, new set. Although this is such a small thing to change, it really can make a difference to your kitchen. Cutlery is possibly one of the most used utensils in a kitchen, so it is important to ensure your knives, forks, spoons etc. are always ahead of the game.

There are so many different styles of lamps you can choose from, with endless possibilities of lamp shades too, enabling you to find the perfect filler for that empty space (so long as it matches your cushions… if not, go back to the previous tip)

Although it is important to take care of the inside of your home, you must remember to take care of the outside too. Having a well looked after the garden is something that can really change the way a house looks and feels.
