Red Candy was established in 2009 and everything they sold was red, every product they stocked, from clocks and colanders to mugs and magazine racks was red! They then continued on to embrace all the colours from all ends of the spectrum! Red Candy doesn’t like beige. They’re about being quirky and different and bold.
We redecorated our lounge last year. We chose pale pink and grey for the walls. Then we teemed that with blue shelves and turquoise furniture. I know it sounds like a lot of colour, but it works. We have Morrocan style lighting and little quirky things in various places. What we didn’t have, and that I hadn’t been able to find despite looking for one for a year, is a wall clock. Thank goodness for Red Candy!!
Umbra Ribbon Wall Clock
This clock looks fantastic in our home. It’s already had some positive comments on it and friends and family members asking where it’s from. It works really well with the copper tones of our curtain tie backs and the door handles, etc. Also, MrLovely really was getting sick and tired of me asking him the time every five minutes. I don’t need to do that now!
Formed from folds and loops of stainless steel representing the twelve hours, this eye-catching timepiece is finished with three black hands, which stand out against the copper backdrop. The folded metal also adds an extra dimension to this modern clock; meaning it not only stands out over 5cm from the wall but also features interesting gaps where the metal loops over. A true design delight!
I know it’s only September, but I’ve almost got my Christmas shopping cracked, I kid you not! I have a huge family and friends to buy for so I like to start early. There are some products on Red Candy that would make wonderful Christmas presents. My son has just moved into his first home with his girlfriend so I’m going to buy them something for their home. I’ll share with you some of the products I’m planning to buy from Red Candy.
I’m really happy with my wall clock from Red Candy and I’ll definately be visiting the website in the near furture to make Christmas purchases.
