We’re a huge family of playing games. We’ve put together a little list of the games we’ve been playing lately for you. They’re perfect for over the festive period.
Pass The Bomb
Pass The Bomb is a fast-paced word game where you have to make words from the letters on the cards. You have to say your word and pass the bomb on before it explodes. My children love playing this, as do MrLovely and I. You can find more out about it here.
221b Baker Street
Recommended for 2-6 players age 10+. The game takes 60-90 mins to play. The aim of the game is to be the first to solve the mystery that is featured on the mystery cards. Travel through the streets and alleys of London to search for clues. The first to solve the clues and find the answer is the winner. You can find this game here.
Lead your troupe of wizards into the mystical Crystal Hall and be the first to find four magical Crystals of Power that are hidden among the tiles. But, be careful, there are more than just crystals hidden under the tiles; Cauldrons, potions, curses and even enchanted swamps await each player. Each player has lots of disruptive spells up their sleeves that can be used to ensure that they are first to get their hands on the mystical crystals of power…
Do you have what it takes to be the most powerful wizard in the Crystal Hall?
You can find this game here.
Find The Pickle
The object of this game is to find the pickle and try to keep hold of it. I played this with my mum and she hid the pickle from me. That is not cool!! It’s a great game for ages 12+ and for between 3-6 people. Gameplay should last between 10-20 minutes. The game is available from here.
