SmileLab Flash Advance Whitening Strips
I know! What a cliche! A blogger talking about tooth whitening products, but bear with me. This one is genuinely different. My teeth have been starting to look a little less than white lately so when I was invited to try this tooth whitening kit, I gladly accepted. The SmileLab tooth whitening strips are free from triclosan, SLS free, cruelty-free and vegan-friendly.
Bit of a backstory – I brush my teeth very regularly and take my dental care quite seriously, yet every time I brush my teeth, my gums are bleeding quite a lot. I think, for the sake of dental protection, I need to change what I’m doing. The debate surrounding fluoride in toothpaste is a tricky subject. There are so many arguments for and against. I’ll still use my natural toothpastes, but I’m also going to be using one with fluoride in for a while to see if it makes a difference.
Cracking Out The Strips
The packaging of the SmileLab whitening strips is very sleek. The metal case is lovely. Inside the box, you get 10 individually wrapped sets of strips, instructions and the metal case. The individual packets contain two strips – one for your top set of teeth and one for your bottoms.
The strips are really easy to apply and taste minty and not at all unpleasant. My oldest son and his girlfriend came over for dinner in the week and we all decided to give the kit a whirl. I went first – ever the guineapig! I kept the strips on my teeth for just over 20 minutes (I get easily distracted) and once I’d removed them, my teeth were pearly white!! It was really effective and I’m really happy with the results. Lewis and Beth also gave them a whirl and were really happy with the results. Sorry about the rubbish selfie, but look how great my teeth look afterwards.
You can buy yourself a kit from here. They’re really inexpensive for what you get.
Thanks for reading.
P.S. I’m a proper blogger now, right?
