The Ethical Superstore
I’ve recently discovered an online shop called the Ethical Superstore. The range of products they sell is phenomenal. They sell food and household cleaning products, to duvet covers and clothes! The Ethical Superstore also stock a range of green and vegan beauty, skincare and personal products (including vegan condoms – I didn’t even know that was a thing!). It’s no secret that I adore green beauty products! When I was invited to sample some products, I jumped at the chance!
I spent half of my morning reading through their little catalogue and their homeware range is not only stunning, but also extraordinary. I’ve curated quite a birthday list whilst I’ve been browsing through it (take note, MrLovely!).
Tan Organic Duo Bronzer
I can’t even tell you how excited I was to try this bronzer. I’ve had my eye on this for quite some time so when it
arrived this morning, despite having been ill all week, I sprung out of bed. The packaging is wooden so super ethical and sustainable. Eager to try it, I put my makeup on as soon as I was downstairs. Oh yes, it is everything I hoped. It’s lovely. Very, very lovely. I actually look beautifully sunkissed today.
The colours are amazing. You get a great colour pay off and it blends like a dream. So, today, I used the darker shade as my contour and the shimmery colour as a highlighter. The shimmery colour gives you such a gently sparkly glow. I love this!!! You can buy yourself one here.
Pacifica Radiant Shimmer Coconut Multiples
I haven’t tried any green contour products so this is something I was really excited to try.
Myself and my daughters have given this a try and it blends really beautifully. I love that this is a multipurpose product that you can use for more than one thing, eg on your lips, eyes, etc. We did feel like it wasn’t very pigmented. I also found this with the Pacifica eyeshadows I bought last year. This is available here. My daughter has claimed this contour set now and she loves it. It’s ideal for her because, being a tween, it’s good that you can barely see it.
Pacifica Stellar Gaze Mineral Mascara Supernova Black – 7.5ml
The next product I tried was the Pacifica Stellar Gaze Mineral Mascara in Supernova Black. This is a lovely natural mascara, but I already have two mascaras on the go, so I’m not going to open this one just yet. I have had a look and the brush looks lovely. I look forward to trying it because the reviews are great. I’ll enjoy using it, whilst fluttering my eyelashes away safe in the knowledge that the ingredients are kind and not going to irritate my sensitive eyes.
Weleda Jardin De Vie Perfume – Agrume
This is only the second natural perfume I’ve tried and this smells gorgeous. Weleda is a brand I really like. Their products are great value and they’re also vegan. Winner, winner since I’m doing Veganuary. I’ve been wearing this perfume all week and I love the smell of it so much! This perfume is actually being discontinued, but they have a selection of others you can purchase here.
Faith in Nature Purifying Cleansing Lotion
I really enjoy having a skincare routine and cleansing my face and rinsing it with a hot cloth but at least once a week, I find it a nuisance. This is exactly perfect for those nights. Last night, I used this to remove my makeup simply with a squirt on some cotton wool. It cleansed my face really beautifully and even removed the waterproof mascara I was wearing. It’s a great value cleanser at just £6.40 too. Really impressed with this. You can buy this here.
I’m delighted to have discovered The Ethical Superstore and I look forward to placing an order with them.
Thanks for reading.
