My Top LoveLula Skincare Products Of 2021

My Top LoveLula Skincare Products Of 2021

I’ve used a lot of products over the course of a year.  I’ve even posted some empties posts telling you about what I’ve been enjoying.  In using all these products, I’ve found some clear stand out products that I’d like to share with you.  These are all available on LoveLula.  Here’s what I’ve been loving.

Antipodes Cleansers

Antipodes cleansers review

The Hallelujah Lime & Patchouli Organic Cleanser has been a favourite for a long time now.  I love everything about it.  It comes in a glass bottle with a pump dispenser so you can get the perfect amount out each time.  The ingredients are certified organic and vegan approved.  It smells lovely, it feels lovely on my skin and I feel like it removes all my makeup and impurities perfectly.  If I had to use just one cleanser forever, this would be my choice.  The only thing I would say about it is that it’s tricky to get the last few pumps out once it’s near to the end.

I also adore the Juliet Skin Brightening Gel Cleanser.  The packaging on this one isn’t as nice as the above cleaner because it comes in a plastic bottle and doesn’t have a pump top.  It does mean you can easily get every last drop out though.  The actual cleanser smells beautiful.  It’s runnier than the other cleanser.  I like to dampen my face before applying this one as I feel it works better that way.  I really enjoy using this one and it’s one of my favourite products.

Dafna’s Skincare Purify Cleanser

Dafna's Skincare Purify Cleanser review

Dafna believe in slow beauty and have an ayurvedic approach to skincare.  This Purify Cleanser is another of both mine and my teenage daughter’s.  It comes in a black glass bottle (I really do appreciate it when a brand uses glass packaging) with a little pump top.  You need to pump the bottle quite a few times to get out the desired amount but that’s not a problem.  The cleanser is a lovely shade of pink and smells very mildly botanical.  It’s a gel cleanser and it successfully removes daily grime and leaves my skin feeling cleansed but not dry.  It’s a really beautiful formulation.

Night Creams

clean beauty night creams

I adore both of these night creams and they’re a staple in my life.  The Antipodes Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream comes in a lovely glass jar and the cream has a very light but gorgeous fragrance to it.  It contains deeply nourishing ingredients that are designed to boost the skins natural production of Type l and lll collagen and elastin by up to 92%.  It’s also packed with vitamins that are so wonderful for the skin.

The Kimberly Sayer Tangerine & Calendula Healing Light Organic Night Cream is another product that I’ve loved for years and that I wouldn’t want to be without.  It comes in a plastic jar, which is a shame and it smells a little like curry, however, the ingredients are amazing.  If I’m having a spotty time or my skin isn’t looking its best, a few nights with this cream and my skin feels and looks tip-top again.  It really is a fantastic product.

Neal’s Yard Remedies Beauty Sleep Concentrate

Neal's Yard Remedies Beauty Sleep Concentrate review

I’m always sad when this runs out and have to repurchase it.  It comes in a glass bottle with a pump-action top so you can get the perfect amount out (between 4-6 pumps).  This Beauty Sleep Concentrate works in two ways – the essential oils are tailored to aid a good night’s sleep and the ingredients nourish your skin as a serum would.  It’s really lightweight so in the winter, you could even add a heavier moisturiser on top.

Terre Verdi AcquaDiRosa Balancing Mist

Terre Verdi AcquaDiRosa Balancing Mist review

I use this Balancing Mist as a toner after cleansing, before applying a night cream or a serum.  It comes in a glass bottle with a spray top.  Three pumps are enough so this bottle has lasted me a really long time.  It smells so beautiful (of roses).  It’s 100% organic, certified by Soil Association COSMOS, Vegan and Cruelty-Free Approved.  I would highly recommend this beautiful mist.

Facial Serum / Facial Oil

clean beauty facial oils, facial serums

Terre Verdi again.  Again, lovely packaging.  It comes in a glass bottle with a dropper top.  This time it’s their award-winning FranChouliPom Nourishing Facial Serum.  This serum is a total powerhouse of a product.  If you have dry or maturing skin, this should be on your want list.  I’ve been using this serum for months, at night, and it’s definitely doing something good to my skin.  Half a dropper full is all you need so again, this is product is worth its money.

I don’t think I’ve ever written about Inner Senses before.  I’ve been using this Inner Senses RASPBERRY ROSE Replenishing Facial Oil and have loved it this year.  It comes in a glass bottle with a little pump on the top.  You just need three pumps worth, which would equate to just a few drops, to apply to your face.  I really like a face oil at night and this is the one 2021 has seen me reaching for.  It’s a gorgeous colour, really rich, and it smells of roses.  My skin drinks it up.

RASPBERRY ROSE Replenishing Facial Oil is a luxurious blend of the finest Damascan Rose essence, a dual delivery of protective Raspberry derived from both the leaves and seeds, and organic nutrients to protect, nourish, revitalise & moisturise skin which is dry, ageing, tired or exposed to the elements.

Kathleen Natural Deep Pore Treatment Mask

Kathleen Natural Deep Pore Treatment Mask review

I’ve loved everything I’ve tried from Kathleen Natural.  This Deep Pore Treatment Mask is no exception to that and it works wonders for my skin.  Packaged in a glass jar (yay to glass!).  Face masks are one of my favourite types of self-care and both myself and my teenage daughter do them on a very regular basis.  This face mask is said to deep clean the skin, minimize pores, reduce blackheads, and calm redness for a clear, balanced, and renewed complexion.  I really feel like it does too.  I have large pores and am prone of blackheads on my nose and my skin always looks better after using this.

Emani Miracle 7 in 1 Primer Serum

Emani Miracle 7 in 1 Primer Serum review

I actually use a lot of Emani products in my makeup bag but this post isn’t about my makeup.  I apply this serum to my skin before I even think about my makeup.  It creates a beautiful base for my foundation.  It’s a 7 in 1 primer too so it’s a great skincare product in general.

Butterwhips Planted Feet Balm

Butterwhips Planted Feet Balm review

I’m going to finish this blog post by talking about the skin on my feet.  This Planted Feet Balm has been a total lifesaver this year.  I always get dry feet in the summer, so much so that they even feel itchy and restless.  This balm is beautiful.  I like to use it at night with a pair of cotton socks on.  Like an overnight balm.  It’s just perfect for hydrating them.  It comes in an aluminium tin so is also completely plastic-free, which I love.

I hope you’ve had a good year and that 2022 is even better for us all.
