Choking

Look into their mouth to see if you can spot the blockage and gently remove it if you can. At the same time, you should be careful that you do not end up pushing it further down their throat. You also need to take care not to get bitten, because sometimes your dog may be in a panic, and they may not realise that you are trying to help them. If your pet collapses or if you cannot remove the object from their throat, then put your hands on the sides of your dog’s rib cage and push firmly so you can try to create pressure to dislodge the issue. Heatstroke

Poisoning

Keep your pet as comfortable as possible and make sure that you are helping them to feel as though they are in a cool, safe place in the meantime.
