Suitable For Everyone
I’m definitely not a pro at painting, but after giving the wood a light sand, I chose the London stencil and blotted around it with the white paint and the sponge. I then used the thickest paintbrush and blended my chosen colours for the skyline. I found the process of this really relaxing.
I’ve decided I wanted the outline of the city to be black so I used a combination of the black pen and the black paint to create this look. I blended some shades of blue and yellow for the foreground to look sort of watery.
All I have left to do is paint the word London onto the bottom of the black city silhouette and it’s finished. My daughter has decided she’d like the finished piece in her bedroom.
The Finished Piece
Once I’ve completely finished it, with the wording, I’ll share it on my Instagram. This is how it’s looking now.
I was born in London so this is a lovely piece of art for my daughter to hang in her bedroom. She too adores London.
Lissy would love one of these kits to do herself, actually, so I might get her one too. The Hatch Project Kit is available from here.
