My LoveLula subscription box is something I look forward to each month. I love discovering new brands that align with my ethos. This is my first month as an accredited LoveLula blogger and I’m very excited to share the contents of the October box with you.

Greenfrog Botanic Bodywash – Geranium & Peppermint
I’ve been using this for the last week since it arrived and I’ve been very much enjoying it. It’s made from Himalayan organic soapberries and contains none of the nasties I avidly avoid.
All botanical ingredients. No nasty chemicals,0% SLS, 0% Parabens, Vegan, certified Cruelty Free certified, No Palm Oil & Made in UK.
I really like the fragrance of this. It smells very natural and herby with almost citrussy undertones. I adore natural herb and flower smells as opposed to those made in a laboratory so this really particularly appeals to my sniffer. The seal of approval comes from my daughter. Following a shower, she sits next to me and inhales the smell of my arms because I smell so lovely.
Glossworks Nail & Cuticle Oil
I’ve been taking more care of my nails over the last few month, since discovering more natural nail polishes. This cuticle oil is ideal for hydrating and enriching your cuticles with vitamins A, D & E whilst softening them. I use this before pushing back my cuticles prior to painting my nails. This cuticle oil didn’t leave my hands feeling greasy as can be the case with other brands. I like this cuticle oil a lot and it’s come at a good time because I hadn’t yet discovered a green cuticle oil prior to this.
Ooh! Oils Of Heaven Tamanu Oil
Tamanu oil is rich in Omega 6 and Omega 9, making is ideal for enhancing healthy skin.
I really like face oils and I’ve been using this Antipodes one since my brother bought me a gorgeous Antipodes one for Christmas last year (good work, Ian’s girlfriend!). This finally ran out a few weeks ago and I haven’t been using anything since then. There’s been a lot of chatter about this in the LoveLula facebook group and it’s sparked lots of different opinions. Personally, I like it. Yes, it does smell of an Indian spice, but I don’t find that unpleasant. I don’t think it’s something I’d wear during the daytime. I use face oils at nighttime as a moisturiser. This oil is non-comedogenic (meaning it doesn’t clog the pores as some oils can).
Saving The Best Until Last!
These are my very favourite items in the box. I’ve been really wanting to try the PHB Ethical Beauty pressed mineral eyeshadow range. LissyLu has asked for natural make up for Christmas this year so I’ve been steadily gathering bits for her. The week before this arrived, I bought her the PHB eyeshadow in the shade Dove. Obviously, I haven’t tried it, but I couldn’t resist colour swatching it and it’s beautiful! I was very happy to find my own pressed eyeshadow in this month’s LoveLula box! I’ve been wearing it this week and I absolutely will be investing in more. It’s really pigmented and blends like a dream! The shade in the box is almond. Almond is the perfect colour to use as the base colour. It gives great definition to your under brow area and in the inside corners or your eyes. Yes! Very happy with this.
This was teamed with the PHB eyeshadow brush. My best friend has pinched this brush because she’s been looking for the perfect eyeshadow brush forever. This is a fantastic brush. It’s the perfect density and beautifully balanced.
