Remove Makeup

Before you commence any face cleaning, remove the makeup carefully. Use the correct makeup remover that is gentle. Removing makeup around your eyes should be done with a cotton swab dipped in micellar water. Gently swab around the eyes to get all the makeup out with either natural oils or makeup remover. If pores are clogged, give double cleansing a shot. Double cleansing uses oils to remove dirt and a mild face wash to remove oil consecutively.

Avoid normal soap

A bar of regular soap is not made for facial washing and sometimes may mess with the normal PH of the skin. Facial cleansers are made especially for this purpose. Different cleansers vary according to skin type. There are foamy cleansers ideal for dry skin because they contain lathering agents that tend to be more drying on the skin. There are also non-foamy cleansers ideal for acne-prone or oily skins. Try using probiotic face wash, which is gentle on the skin, has natural ingredients, and will leave your skin feeling replenished.

Use warm water

Hot water is not good for your skin, contrary to popular belief. It irritates the skin and may cause flushing or flares. Coldwater is also not good, so we settle for lukewarm water, perfect for washing off the cleanser.

Rub your skin the right way

Your fingers are one of the most effective gentle tools to deep cleanse your face. They also help with circulation and provide a massage effect on the skin. Besides, you can also give sonic cleaning a shot, especially for oily skin. Sonic brushes vary in texture and can be useful tools in acne reduction and add radiance to the skin. We recommend moderate use of these brushes for extra sensitive skin as they may irritate.

Use a Soft Towel

Once the cleansing is all said and done, you must wipe your face and remove the water. Water, when left to dry by itself, may cause dryness. Remember to use a specific towel for your face to avoid spreading bacteria to your face from other parts of the body. Also, avoid rubbing your face with the towel but rather pat it dry to avoid damaging the skin.

Final thoughts

After cleaning your face, remember to moisturize. Moisturizer helps replenish the skin and avoid extra dryness after washing off all the oils. Avoid washing the face multiple times a day because it might be too much. Twice a day is enough or once in the evening. With the above deep clean routine, you are assured of having radiant skin and remaining flawless.
