I thought the beauty boxes from LoveLula had stopped so imagine my surprise when the LoveLula Beauty Box – June 2022 arrived on my doorstep. I was quite delighted. Another month of beautiful products. The value of this month’s box is a whopping £109! Let me share with you what’s in this month’s box.
UrbanVeda Purifying Body Oil
A lovely big full-sized product, this oil comes in a glass bottle with a pump-action top, inside a cardboard box. It’s cruelty-free and vegan and is part of the natural soil association. It smells refreshing and has patchouli, geranium and spearmint which is where the fragrance comes from and contains organic neem, organic Gotu Kola and organic witch hazel which are traditionally used to purify and energise the skin. I’ve been using this on my legs because they often feel dry and it’s really lovely. You can see the full-sized product here.
INIKA Bold Lash Mascara
I rarely wear mascara but when I do, this is the one I choose. It’s so good! As you can see, the wand is perfect for covering all your lashes. It’s buildable and separates and amplifies the length and thickness of your lashes. I have the shade Black which is my preferred colour. You can see this mascara here.
Lyonsleaf Beauty Balm
This balm comes inside a brown glass jar with an aluminium lid. I was expecting it to be more of a hard, oilier balm but this is more creamy, which I was really pleased with. It smells gorgeous, like botanicals. I can only describe this as a one-pot wonder. It’s great for a plethora of things, such as dry elbows and knees, as a cleanser, as a primer underneath your makeup or even under sunscreen that’s tricky to apply. You only need a tiny amount because it melts and goes a long way. It contains no artificial chemicals. You can see this Beauty Balm here.
Organic Works Pro Smoothing Serum
This serum comes in a plastic bottle with a pump-action top. Pump action tops are my favourite because it’s so easy to dispense the perfect amount of product. This serum is a gel consistency rather than an oil. It feels lovely and cool on the skin when you apply it which I really appreciate this time of year. It is said to restore dull and uneven complexions. It hydrates the skin both and is suitable for both day and night. Enriched with para cress extract, an ingredient known for its effectiveness at improving fine lines by smoothing the skin and protecting it from environmental damage. It’s such a lovely product!
