Ways to Boost Your Chances of Conceiving

If you want to start a family but are finding it a little difficult conceiving, then there are various ways you can boost your chances. It would help if you took a look at the list below and tried a few of the tips and advice out before jumping into more serious measures. Sometimes all it takes are a few changes in lifestyle and a little bit of monitoring to fall pregnant. With the right tools and preparation, you never know you may find it easier than you think.

Take Care of Yourself

You’ve heard it all before, but in order to find it easier to fall pregnant, you need to take care of yourself. Eat healthily, cut down on alcohol, coffee, fast food, and sugary treats, as all this inhibit conception. If you can reduce your body weight if you have a high BMI or increase it if you are too low. If your BMI is too low, you may find that your periods stop, so increasing to a healthy weight is an absolute must in that case. Go out and exercise, as it can boost fertility. Moreover, exercise can reduce the chances of you developing gestational diabetes and other ailments. If you do fall pregnant, exercise is a great way to help during labor, a stronger body will definitely be of service when it comes time to push.

Mark Your Menstrual Cycle

In order to fall pregnant, you need to know when your periods are going to be. Mark on your calendar the date your period starts every month, then you can work out of you are regular, first of all, and even if, you are not, you may begin to see a pattern that will help you know when you will ovulate. 

Ovulation Kit 

You ovulate once a cycle, and it is usually around the twelfth to sixteenth date before your next period. If you are regular, you should be able to see when this is likely to occur, it may take a little more work if you are irregular, but it is not impossible to monitor ovulation. You can buy ovulation test kits that you can pee on to determine if you are ovulation. If you have a positive result, you need to have sex very soon, within 24 hours usually, and again up to 72 hours to increase your chances.  

Take Folic Acid

Every woman planning on falling pregnant should take folic acid. Not only does it help you fall pregnant, but it also helps protect the baby against certain illnesses and helps the central nervous system develop.

Take a Test

If you are worried about your fertility, you can both take Fertility Tests to ensure that there is nothing wrong. You could discuss your fertility issues with your doctor, too, to see if there is anything else you can do to help boost your chances. It may be that a new test or pregnancy pill has just come out to assist you. You never know until you ask.
