What’s Inside The LowToxBox – December

December LowToxBox

I received the December LowToxBox this week.  I love it just as much as I loved the last one I received.  LowToxBox are a fantastic company offering more ethical, cleaner and more sustainable products.  During the Black Friday weekend, the only shopping I did was from LowToxBox because I love their ethos and their products (have a nosey at what I bought here).

For every LowToxBox sold, the wonderful people have a tree planted in your name.  How lovely is that?  I have two trees so far.

The Contents Of The December Box

LTB are really generous with the number of products you get inside your box.  It’s certainly value for money!  Here’s what you can expect from the December box:

LowToxBox packaging

You know it’s going to be good when you open the box to this!  How beautiful is that tissue paper?  Also, again with

Veda Soul Awaken

the handwritten tag.  I love thoughtful little details like this.

Veda Soul – AWAKEN Lemon & Ginger

This tin fills me with joy.  I adore the Veda Soul logo and the tin is just beautiful (I’m actually going to use the tin to make a candle in after I’ve finished eating them).

The oat bites inside the tin are a really delicious variety of flavours.  The lemon and ginger really work well together and the chocolate gives it a really indulgent extra dimension.

The treats are made using 75% raw chocolate and are vegan, made from organic ingredients and contain no refined sugars.

helpmeorganics soy wax candle

Help me Organics Candle

Christmas sometimes frightens me.  Yesterday, I was feeling a bit nervous about it and this candle was so very perfect.  It reads on the front, “help me have a mindful of calm”.  The ideal sentiment for my afternoon.

This candle has been hand blended especially for LTB and contains frankincense, geranium bourbon and lavender.  It’s perfect for mental clarity and relaxation.

I’ve been using soy wax candles a lot over the last few months.  I’ve even tried my hand at making them (chemical burns on a Saturday night is not fun!).

Bubbly Badger Vegan Bath Bomb

Bubbly Badger – Apple Pie & Custard Bath Bomb

The smell of this!  Oh, my word!  It smells amazing!!

Now, I actually don’t have a bath, unfortunately, but Tor does and she’s very excited to use it.

Bubbly Badger advertises their bath bombs as being vegan but the ingredients aren’t listed (but aren’t bath bombs almost always vegan?).

Soapy Skin - Handmade Lemongrass Soap

Soapy Skin – Handmade Lemongrass Soap

This is the perfect soap to use on those wintery mornings when you just can’t get yourself in gear.  The lemongrass is super refreshing and will stimulate your senses and get you on the right foot for the day.  It’s a handmade bar made from natural ingredients so is kind and gentle on your skin.  It contains tea tree which is great for healing a multitude of skin conditions.

Eco Glitter Fun - biodegradable glitter

Eco Glitter Fun – Exclusive LOWTOXBOX Mix

I have a longstanding love/hate relationship with glitter.  This stuff is AMAZING!!  I was so excited when I saw this in the box because I’ve never used anything like it before.  I’ve played with it a few times and it’s a LOT of fun.  My daughter has already tried to pinch it off me, mind you (erm, no!!).  This will feature in lots of our festive makeup looks during these Christmas holidays.

I love the fact it’s biodegradable so isn’t going to damage the environment.  Loving this guilt-free glitter!!!  The super cute teeny little drawstring bag that it comes in added the perfect little touch.  This was one of my favourite things in the box.

Iam By Nature – Medhini Face Scrub

Iam By Nature - Medhini Face Scrub

I was excited to find another Iam By Nature product in this month’s LTB.  I really enjoyed using the facemask of theirs from the October box.  The packaging is beautiful (in fact, my mum has pinched it to put my brother’s Christmas gift in!).  I love a good face scrub so I’m looking forward to using this.  The ingredients are all things that I

Kabloom - Seedbom Cornflower Fairy Lights

enjoy using as part of my skincare routine (and eating, for that matter!).

Kabloom – Seedbom Cornflower Fairy Lights

Cornflowers are one of my favourite flowers!  They’re so delicate and pretty.  I love Seedboms.  I’ve used them a couple of times before with great success.  These will look beautiful out the front of my house.

I adore the packaging, it’s really fun.  Pull the pin and throw!  If only it was this easy to grow my vegetables at the allotment!

Emily Crisps - Crunchy Red Apple

Emily Crisps – Crunchy Red Apple

I’ve had these a few times before.  They are delicious.  I’m a massive fan of Emily Fruit Crisps and I highly recommend them.  Yummy!!  A great way to get in one of your 5-a-day too.

Real Handful - Blood Orange & Dark Chocolate

Real Handful – Blood Orange & Dark Chocolate

These have gone into Tor’s handbag as her emergency snack.  She loves the peanut, dark chocolate and orange combination.  I, personally, just don’t like chunks of dried fruit, but I’m sure they’re delicious.

Stoats - Apple & Cinnamon Porridge Oat Bar

Stoats – Apple & Cinnamon Porridge Oat Bar

This one has gone into my handbag.  It sounds absolutely delicious.  I love apple and cinnamon so I’m quite sure it will be the perfect on the go snack to have on a day when I’ve skipped breakfast.

Ha!  Actually eating it right now.  We had a weird dinner so I need something wholesome and filling.  I can report that it is indeed delicious.

To order your own LowToxBox, pop along to their website.  You won’t regret it.

Please do have a watch of our unboxing video with Tor from A Girl And Her Giant (which I’m sure she’ll write on one day).  Also, remember to give us a thumbs up and hit the subscribe button.

Thanks for reading.

Disclosure: I was sent the LowToxBox to review, this doesn’t in any way affect my opinion of the products I’ve written about here.
