BIO-RETINOL GOLD MASK
This mask is suitable for all skin types but is especially good for those with normal, dry and mature skin types.
Retinol is a synthetic ingredient that can cause skin irritation but that can also deliver generous antiageing benefits. Bio-Retinol comes is a natural plant extract that comes from the plant Bidens Pilosa. The extract from Bidens Pilosa works like retinol on the skin and delivers the same cellular renewal and rejuvenating benefits without the irritation. Retinol can make your skin more sensitive to the sun, but the Bio-Retinol can be used throughout the summer months and during the day without any adverse effects.
This beautiful face mask also contains rosehip and argan oils, which are rich in omega 3 and 6, and they both help to nourish and moisturise your skin. The gold in the mask comes from a responsible and sustainable mineral source of mica.
Using The Mask
Apply a thick layer to cleansed skin (I used the Evolve Cleansing Melt before applying my mask).
Leave on for five minutes and then remove with warm water, which turns the mask into a milky texture which is easy to rinse off. Do not add any water to the jar of face mask.
My Thoughts
I absolutely love the mask. I love the packaging. It comes in a glass jar with a twist-off lid inside a recycled card box. Both are fully recyclable. The mask smells amazing!
Not only is it beautiful, but the Bidens Pilosa plant has so many beneficial properties to ageing skin that my skin felt amazing afterwards.
I felt the mask left my skin feeling rejuvenated. Wrinkles felt less visible and my skin felt glowing.
