Teenagers can be a total nuisance to buy for. You can no longer palm them off with the toys that they used to love. No more Tellytubby soft toys and no more Duplo building sets. I have the ultimate, much coveted Christmas gift idea for them.
The Solution
Feast your eyes upon this beauty! This white and rose gold limited edition gift box may just be the very thing you’ve been looking for. This sleek and stylish printer fits in your pocket and prints photos wirelessly with ease.
My teenagers have seen this and they’re extremely jealous that I have one. My eldest son and his girlfriend have a bucket list of things they set to complete each year and they document their journey in a scrapbook. They came round the other evening to have a go at my Sprocket and it was love at first sight. The number of times he tried sneaking it into his pocket was ridiculous (actually, I’d better check the box again…).
The HP Sprocket Limited Edition Gift Box
This little bundle is excellent value at £119 on the John Lewis website. It’s the same price of £119 on Amazon too. The box contains:
The sprocket printer (obviously), along with USB cable and instructions
A beautiful and stylish rose gold wallet case to keep the pocket printer in. It’s extremely lightweight and to pop this into your handbag containing the printer and extra paper would be barely noticeable weight wise
A photo album in coordinating colours to keep all your photos together
A voucher for a free personalised sprocket skin
The sprocket on its own is currently the same price on their website which makes the gift box fantastic value.
How To Use The Sprocket
I really don’t like reading instructions because I just find them so boring. I much prefer to crack on and wing it! The sprocket is so easy to use, I didn’t have to crack out the instruction leaflet inside the box. Ideal! You just download the app onto your smartphone (android or apple), making sure the Bluetooth on the phone and the printer are both switched on. You can print from your social media channels or from your gallery. Once you’ve chosen the photo that you want to print in the easy to use app, add any borders or effects to your photo, select print and within 30 seconds or so your photo is printed. The paper for the printer is sticky-backed so you can peel the back off and stick the photos wherever you choose. They’re so much fun!!
Christmas Fun
We’ll be buying plenty of extra printer paper and leaving this out over the Christmas period for everyone to use. I can’t wait to see what pictures everyone prints out. The fact that you can print it out instantly really captures the fun side of taking photos. The paper is really affordable from Amazon at just £7.26 for 20 sheets (this makes each photo around 36 pence each – wow!). I’m looking forward to seeing the family capturing moments with the Sprocket.

This looks great and I did have it on my Christmas list but I have been put off a little by the cost of the photo paper, I think I would be going through a pack a day with my four! It does look amazing though, great review.
I don’t have a teen or know any but this is going on my christmas list! I think it looks great.
I am not sure about teenagers but I am 22 and I want one! I have looked at it before and it is just such a shame how expensive the photo paper can be 🙁
I absolutely love it! I use mine all the time and I’m a very, very long way off of being a teenager 🙂
