Homes that were built or last rewired several decades ago might have wiring that no longer meets current regulations, and it might not be able to meet the current requirements for your daily life.
Older wiring systems were designed for properties that ran off fewer appliances, and these days there’s a greater demand on electrical circuits from contemporary devices such as high-draw kitchen appliances, home offices, EV chargers and so on.
