You can watch our YouTube video unboxing below.
So, what’s inside the box?
John Masters Organics Lip Calm
I would consider myself something of a lip balm connoisseur because I used to make them in the past and I know a good formula when I find one. This lip balm is gorgeous. It smells citrusy but isn’t overpowering. Made with olive oil, sunflower oil, beeswax and other nourishing ingredients, this lip balm is both soothing and moisturising. You can see this product here.
Ayumi Neem & Tea Tree Body Wash
This was a lovely find in the beauty box. Ayumi is a brand I use on a regular basis having previously discovered it in a beauty box. They have a ylang-ylang and sandalwood range that smells heavenly and now my whole house uses it.
A blend of Ayurvedic neem, Nimba and tea tree oil envelop the skin with a healthy protective veil, while a tinge of cooling menthol leaves skin feeling fresh, healthy and bursting with freshness.
This doesn’t smell like neem oil, thankfully, because that smells super strong usually! This smells fresh and almost citrusy. I really like it, as will my family. Their whole range is really affordable. You can buy this from here.
Madara Hyaluronic Collagen Booster Ampoules 10 x 3ml
I was delighted to find these in this month’s first. Not just because we all know I adore Madara products but because I’ve heard amazing things about these little ampoules.
They are enriched with natural hyaluronic acid and moisturising plant sugars that improve the condition of mature, very dry, tight, demanding and thinning skin.
I’ve tried one ampoule and it was lovely. I’ll be saving the rest to use for before my son’s wedding later in the year. When you have something coming up and you want your skin looking great, these are what you need. You can buy them here.
Nature’s Kitchen Berry Beautiful Skin Polish
The very first thing I noticed about this product is its smell. It’s absolutely divine. Fruity and like a 90s Bodyshop lip balm! I do exfoliate on a regular basis because it’s important to gently remove the dead skin cells from your body. This one is very gentle, which is good. “Packed with super skin-loving antioxidant-rich red berries, this sin polish uses a natural bamboo cane and red berry fruit to gently buff the skin, leaving it feeling healthy and younger-looking.” I’m looking forward to using this one. This also has a really low price point. You can shop this here.
I got a camelia oil cleanser, which is a product I haven’t tried yet so I’ll keep this for when I’m travelling. What having the sachet does mean, is that this month you can buy anything from Inika on the LoveLula site at 20% off for beauty box recipients, using the code that comes with the box. You can see the Inika range here.
This concludes the April Beauty Box. You can read more of my green beauty posts here. Thank you for reading,
