The LoveLula Beauty Box – January 2022

The LoveLula Beauty Box - January 2022

Hello!  It feels so strange writing 2022.  Isn’t January always the longest feeling month ever?  Thankfully, I had the LoveLula Beauty Box – January 2022 to look forward to.  This always arrives around the 11th of the month and, in my opinion, is the best value green beauty subscription box out there.  The subscription starts at just under £13 per month for the 12-month subscription, or you can buy a one-off box.  You can see the beauty box on the website here.  Let me show you what was in this month’s box.

PHB Ethical Beauty – Superfood Pink Clay Brightening Cleanser

PHB Ethical Beauty - Superfood Pink Clay Brightening Cleanser review

This was a very exciting discovery to find in this month’s box.  I find this to be a really effective cleanser.  I love the gentle fragrance and the packaging (glass pump top bottle inside a cardboard box) and I love how effective a cleanser it is.  It removes all impurities and leaves my skin feeling replenished and ready for moisturising.  It’s such a gentle cleanser and the pump-action top allows you to get the right amount for you.  You can see this cleanser here.

Ooh! – Oils of Heaven Natural Cacay Anti-Aging Face Oil

Ooh! - Oils of Heaven Natural Cacay Anti-Aging Face Oil review

The LoveLula beauty box certainly does keep me well stocked with facial oil.  Ooh! come in a glass bottle and the full-size ones come with a dropper dispenser but this one has a screw-top lid.  This is a really amazing oil.  It contains 50% more vitamin E and twice the amount of Linoleic Acid than argan oil and 3 times more retinol than Rosehip oil.  It has a faint nutty smell to it, which is expected as it’s made from cold-pressed wild cacay nuts.  This oil absorbs into my skin quicker than any oil I’ve ever come across.  It really is rather incredible.  I love to use face oil at night and I think, when I’ve finished this smaller bottle, I’ll purchase the larger bottle.  It’s ideal for my maturing skin.  You can see the full-size product here.

Madara SOS Hydra Moisture & Radiance Mask

Madara SOS Hydra Moisture & Radiance Mask review

I’ve tried this Madara SOS mask before and really liked it.  This is such an easy mask to use.  You simply apply it and leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes then you wipe it off.  The fragrance of the mask is very delicate and very Madara-esque.  I love the way their products smell.  This one doesn’t feel like a traditional thick face mask, it’s velvety soft and leaves my skin feeling really lovely.  You can see this product here.

Balm Balm Rose Floral Water Hydrosol

Balm Balm Rose Floral Water Hydrosol review

Balm Balm products now come in glass packaging, which I love.  I also love a floral water so this was always going to be a win for me.  I use this in the evenings before applying my face oil.  It makes a perfect toner after cleanser or even just as a pick me up during the day.  This one has such a gorgeous, luxurious fragrance to it.  This is one of my favourite floral waters.  You can get this from here at a really good price!

Ayumi Tumeric Face Care Sample Duo

Ayumi Tumeric Face Care Sample Duo

I always save sample sachets for when I’m away in our van so I haven’t used these yet.  I am very familiar with their whole range though as it’s a brand we use on a daily basis.  I haven’t found a product of theirs that I don’t love.  The smells are gorgeous, the products are wonderful.  What’s not to like?
