The LoveLula Beauty Box – July 2021 landed on my doorstep a couple of weeks ago, so I’ve had time to try everything out before writing this review. It’s, yet another, good one. The value of the products in the box are £58. It’s, in my opinion, the best value beauty box out there. You can get your own subscription from here.
Soul Tree Kajal – Pure Black
This is a lovely discovery to find in the beauty box. They’ve rebranded since I got mine. I’ve been using this kajal for a couple of years. I really like it, it glides on beautifully and you can smudge it out to create a smokey eye effect. I wrote about this in my recent Spring 21 Makeup Favourites. Another great thing about these kajals is the variety of colours that they come in! They have some really beautiful shades. You can check them out here.
Gallinée Probiotic Eye Contour Cream
I’ve tried a few things from this brand before and really enjoyed them. They’ve featured in the beauty box a couple of times. Gallinee definitely knows their prebiotics and probiotics. Packaged in a squeezy tube, this eye contour cream has no real fragrance to it, that I could detect. It’s a very gentle formula and I’m enjoying using it. You can see this product here.
Bloomtown Natural Deodorant Bar – Lemongrass & Peppermint
This is perfect in a few ways. Firstly, it’s completely zero waste so ideal for #PlasticFreeJuly, it also contains no bicarbonate of soda, which is good because my armpits are sometimes reactive to this ingredient and it makes them really itchy and sore, lastly, it’s a glide on deodorant which means I don’t have to dig my fingers in it and get it stuck under my fingernails like the one I’ve been using lately (which is also great, except I don’t like the fingernail thing). It’s very effective for me and I like the smell of the lemongrass and peppermint (my daughter thinks it smells a little like honey and lemon). You can buy this here.
Skin Alchemists Equilibrium Artisan Soap Bar
Another beautiful zero waste, plastic-free product for this month’s box. It just comes packaged in a cardboard box. The base of this soap is extra virgin olive oil, African shea butter and tropical coconut oil so it’s very nourishing and gentle on the skin. It smells divine with top notes of lavender and lime and base notes of vetiver and cedarwood, it balances your senses. It’s not too feminine either so it really is perfect for the whole family. I’ve been really enjoying using this. You can see the Skin Alchemist range here.
Already, I cannot wait to see what is in next month’s box! Thank you for reading about the LoveLula Beauty Box – July 2021. You can check out last month’s box here.
