May has been the strangest month! How can we still be having frosts? Anyway, with May, came the LoveLula Beauty Box – May 2021. It’s another good one! The value of the box is a whopping £68 so considering the subscription is so inexpensive, you really do get a lot of bang for your buck! So, what’s inside?
Organic Works Lavender Hand Wash
I love this! I like the bottle that it comes in (though I would prefer glass, as always) and I like that it has a pump action top (which I’ll be reusing for another product). It smells great, it cleanses my hands really well and I’m delighted to find this in the box. I’ve been using the Lavender Organic Works shower gel in the evenings for the last couple of months and it also is gorgeous. You can buy this here.
Walden ‘A Morning Star’ Natural Perfume Oil

I do love Walden Perfumes and have a couple of the larger bottles but this one isn’t my favourite. My teenager loves it and I know the other bloggers do too so it’s just me and my fussy nose.
Top Notes: Lavender, Bergamot, Grapefruit
Heart Notes: Rose de Mai, Ambrette Seed, Chamomile
Base Notes: Sandalwood, Orris Butter, Cabreuva Wood oil, Orange Flower
In my opinion, it’s quite a masculine smell whereas I generally tend to lean towards more floral perfumes. You can see this here.
UrbanVeda Purifying Day Cream
This is another gorgeous product nestled in the box. I really enjoy Unban Veda products and have a couple of things from their Purifying range. I’ve been using their Night Cream lately before bed and it’s great being able to use the matching Day Cream to it. I love that this comes in a glass pot. This formula is really great for my skin because it contains neem oil, Witch hazel and spearmint, which helps cell renewal. It’s super light and absorbs into your skin really quickly. It’s a really good one and you can buy it here.
Bowe Organics Brow Oil
Finding this in the box delighted me! I’ve been trying to grow out my 90s over-plucked since before lockdown so this has been really helping. Castor oil is famous for its ability to help strengthen and thicken hair and black seed oil is known for its beauty benefits in ancient Egypt. You can see this product here.
