The LoveLula Beauty Box – September 2020 has landed! It’s a good one and whilst I’m on the subject, I’m going to have to say the C word now. Christmas. There, I’ve said it, but as Christmas draws nearer it’s a good idea to think about a subscription for Christmas and a LoveLula box makes the perfect gift. Great value, a surprise every month of clean and good skincare/makeup. You can buy a subscription here.
This month’s Beauty Box is worth £62. As I said, amazing value. Let’s delve in, shall we?
Madara Smart Anti-Pollution Charcoal & Mud Repair Mask
I always love to find a Madara product in the beauty box. Madara is such a wonderful brand that really does deliver when it comes to good skincare. Also, I really enjoy face masks. It’s one of my favourite things to do of an evening. This one is the ideal antidote for skin that is ageing or exposed to pollution. It contains antioxidant-rich Black Northern Mud and Charcoal. Purifies and promotes skin cell renewal. This is a 5-10 minute mask that you can use 2-3 times a week. You can see the full-size product here.
Dr Botanicals Hemp Infused Natural Nutrition Moisturiser
“Hemp seed oil and cocoa butter infused moisturiser that works to protect, nourish and hydrate skin for a smooth looking complexion”.
I see hemp/cannabis sativa seed oil being used more and more in beauty product because of its benefits for the skin. This moisturiser is a pale green colour and has a very mild clean smell to it. It absorbs into the skin straight away and leaves your skin feeling hydrated. This is a great travel size product that you can pop in your bag. You can shop the Dr Botanical range here. I love how affordable their products are.
Inika Mineral Mattifying Powder
I love makeup so was really excited to see this product in here! It’s something I hadn’t tried before. This one is a full-size product. It’s a mineral mattifying powder that is a silky, loose powder and is beautifully light. This is a multi-purpose product that can be used instead of, or after foundation. I, personally, have been using it as a setting powder and it feels really lovely. You can read more about this product here.
Ayumi Clarifying Neem & Witch Hazel Toner
Ayumi is a super affordable brand of products that are made here in the UK. This is another full-sized product. I don’t use a toner as often as I should so it’s lovely to have a new one to make me enthusiastic about using it again. I love using neem on my skin and hair. It’s such a great ingredient.
“A blend of proven actives and respected naturals to maintain a clear complexion and natural radiance. Gluconolactone with its powerful water-binding qualities helps keep the skin hydrated and refreshed with precious moisture. Aloe vera is respected for its skin cooling and soothing properties while Witch Hazel gently tones the skin. A delicate infusion of traditional botanicals Neem, sweet Orange peel and Nettle to help the skin remain fresh with a zesty zing.” You can buy this here.
UrbanVeda Reviving Renewal Night Cream
This one is a travel size 20ml version of the full-sized product. I love the smell of this product. This night cream is to uplift waning skin. You need to apply this replenishing concentrated night cream after you’ve cleansed your face at night. It’s a lovely creamy texture and my skin drinks it straight in without leaving any oily residue. My best friend uses this same cream as her constant night cream. You can buy yourself some from here.
