Hello, green beauty fans! Another wonderful box arrived on my doorstep this month. Sadly, I was away so I haven’t done a video but here is my review of the LoveLula Beauty Box August 2020.
This is the most expensive box we’ve had in a while, although the boxes are always excellent value. The value of this month’s box is £70!! Madara Plant Stem Cell Age Defying Sunscreen SPF30
We all know I love a Madara product! I was pleased to discover this inside the box. This is a 10ml sized tube which is perfect for your handbag or travelling. There is a slight fragrance to it, which I really like. It says the shade is invisible and it works really well with my fair skin tone. It provides a high UVA/UVB protection and it contains certified natural ingredients.
“This innovative formula with patent-pending stem cells from Northern Dragonhead deliver a hyper dose of antioxidants to completely shield skin from urban pollution while also regenerating and protecting the skin microbiome for a 360-degree age-defying effect.” You can see the full-sized product here.
FOM London Face Cleansing Cream
Another exciting product to find inside the box. FOM London products, I find to be of a lovely quality and this cleansing cream is no different. It comes in a glass bottle with a pump-action top. This is a 30ml bottle. “This hydrating anti-pollution rinse off cleanser removes pollutants, dead skin cells and makeup leaving skin cleansed, balanced and hydrated.” You can see the full-sized product here.
Laidbare Glow Laidbare! Natural Self Tan
This product comes in a squeezy tube. This one is a full-sized product of 50ml. It smells really lovely, which is refreshing for a self-tan. I haven’t actually used this yet because I’ve been away but I will. I’ll add photos to my Instagram stories so make sure you follow me there. This says is gives you a sun-kissed, just stepped off the beach look, which sounds good to me! My daughter and I have been successfully experimenting with self-tan this summer so I just know we’re going to enjoy this. You can see this product here.
Inika Certified Organic Pure Perfection Primer
Another lovely full-sized product. I do like the look of the Inika products, I think their branding is really sleek. You can wear this primer on its own or you can apply before foundation. I always use a primer before applying foundation, I think it makes the foundation sit better on my skin. “This nutrient-rich, vegan, Certified Organic primer is enriched with clinically proven Kangaroo Paw Extract (which is a plant, obviously), Hyaluronic Acid, Jojoba oil and other skin-caring ingredients to help boost hydration in the skin, creating the appearance of firmer, smoother skin”. Another fragrance that is so subtle that I can’t pick it out but it’s very pleasant. You can see this product here.
