LoveLula Beauty Box – April 2018

LoveLula Beauty Box - April 2018

I thought I’d be super quick off the mark today.  I usually post the “LoveLula beauty box, what’s inside” posts once I’ve tried all the products.  Today, I thought I’d share the arrival of the box with you and my first impressions.

The Contents

The total value of this month’s box is over £65!  Considering the cost of this monthly subscription starts at just £13.95, we’re getting an absolute bargain!!  You can buy a one-off box or sign p for a monthly subscription here.

LoveLula April box 2018

Balm Balm Little Miracle Rosehip Balm 30ml

Rosehip Balm

This gets a lot of love.  I love Balm Balm, love rosehip as an ingredient and love the glass jar packaging.  It’s the full-size product.  I whipped this straight onto some problems areas on my skin as soon as it arrived.  This can be used as a daily balm on your face or as a little rescue treatment when you just need something nourishing.  I regularly use the Balm Balm rosehip oil on my skin so I’m pleased to have this.  You can see this product here.

Dr. Botanicals Coffee Superfood Renewing Facial Exfoliator 30ml

Dr.botanicals Coffee Superfood Renewing Facial Exfoliator 30ml

This is another full-size product.  Dr. Botanicals is a new brand to LoveLula.  I’ve never tried anything by Dr. Botanicals before so I’m interested in trying this.  Also, rather conveniently, I’m almost out of exfoliator since the tween has decided to exfoliate as a regular part of her skincare routine (which is fine, but why does she squish the bottle up when she uses it? Argh!).  I’ve already had a sneaky little use of this and it’s lovely.  It smells like coffee, as you’d expect from a coffee exfoliator.  The exfoliation is delivered via walnut shell powder which gives a nice firm exfoliation.  I look forward to having a proper go of this in the shower.

Dr. Botanicals Kale Superfood Nourishing Day Moisturiser 30ml

Dr.botanicals Kale Superfood Nourishing Day Moisturiser 30ml

Another full-size product!  LoveLula have definitely spoiled us this month!  We did have a moisturiser in last month’s box so I’m surprised to see one in this month’s box.  I’m not going to open this, I’ll either use it as a giveaway on my Facebook page or give it to a friend.  I’ve been using the Kimberley Sayer Ultra Light Facial Moisturizer and I’m really happy with it for now because it contains SPF30 and I love not having to mess about with a separate sunscreen when it’s not especially sunny at the moment.

This looks like a lovely moisturiser though.  It’s said to improve the appearance of your skin whilst providing nourishment and hydration.  The active ingredients are kale, which is rich in vitamin C and E (which is a winning combination!) and cocoa butter.  You can purchase this moisturiser from here.

Inika Certified Organic Cream Eyeshadow – Champagne

Inika eye shadow cream

A fourth full-sized product!!  I love Inika and this is a lovely treat!  This eyeshadow cream in shade Champagne is gorgeous!  It’s a very delicate, light colour with a subtle sheen.  Perfect for a natural look and for adding a soft illuminating and highlighting shade to your eyes.  I’ll be adding this in my make makeup as a crease-free eyeshadow base before building up the colour or as a stand-alone shade.  I think this was the item I was most excited about in this month’s box.  You can see this product here.

Madara – 3 Step Skin Boost Sample Set

Madara is a lovely brand.  I’ve been obsessed with their Tinting Fluid for months!  This is a great way of trialling more from their range without committing to buying the full product.  These three samples consist of Cleansing Milk, Brightening AHA Peel Mask and the Smart Antioxidants Fine Line Minimising Day Cream.  I don’t usually try the sachets but I think I just might with these.  You can see the full Madara range here.

I think this month’s box is excellent.  I’ve never had a beauty subscription box I’ve been unhappy with in over a year of having the LoveLula subscription.  I’ll link my YouTube video once I’ve filmed it.  Thanks for reading.
