It’s been a couple of months since I shared one of these posts so I’ve written My LoveLula Top Picks – August 2021. Last month was an empties post so I thought I’d share with you what I’ve been using and getting to know over the last month. These products are all new to me. Here they are.
Antipodes Juliet Skin Brightening Gel Cleanser
This is the second of the Antipodes cleansers that I’ve used and I use these daily. I love the smell, the consistency and the effect of them. This one comes in a plastic bottle whereas the other one I use comes in a glass with a pump-action top, which is the packaging style that I prefer. Not a fan of plastic. It has a really lovely light fragrance of green apple and cardamon. It doesn’t lather and it cleanses my skin beautifully and I only need to use a small amount each time. It’s packed with some great ingredients, for example, kiwi fruit and hibiscus flower. You can see this cleanser here.
Crazy Rumors BIGGIE Leaping Bunny Lip Balm
I love Crazy Rumors lip balms so when I saw in the LoveLula newsletter that they were selling huge ones, I knew I had to snap one up! It comes in a large twist-up tube (as you’d imagine) and isn’t as practical to use as you’d think. It’s far bigger than my lips so not so easy to apply. I still like it though. Gallinée Prebiotic Toothpaste
I recently had a gum infection and it was so uncomfortable that I’m being even more careful than usual with what I use on my teeth. When I came across this Gallinee toothpaste I just knew I needed to give it a try. Gallinee really knows their stuff when it comes to prebiotics and it’s a brand I trust.

Lamazuna Eco Refillable Toothbrush
This toothbrush was absolutely perfect for when I had my gum infection because I chose the soft bristles. It’s really gentle and cleans my teeth really well. I think now my gums are healed, I need a firmer bristle. It’s such a clever design. When you are finished with the head, it pops out and you can replace it so the handle lives on, as it were. Great because I don’t use plastic toothbrushes, every one I used when I was a child is still in existence. I wrote more about this here. You can see this toothbrush here.
benecos Natural Kajal (Black)
I think I’m a little bit addicted to new eyeliners. This eyeliner is really affordable and really good. Gorgeous pigment, long-lasting and easy to apply. What more could you want from an eyeliner? You can see this here.
