My October LoveLula Picks

I’ve bought some lovely products from LoveLula this month that I feel like I really need to share with you.

Madara Hyaluronic Anti-Pollution CC Cream SPF15 Light Beige

I’ve been using the Madara Tinting Fluid for so long and I think it’s amazing.  It does only give you a light coverage, which I like, but I felt like changing it up for the Autumn.  I kept hearing about this one so I thought I’d give it a whirl.

In the latest LoveLula beauty box, there was a sample sachet of this, so I knew it was a good colour match.  The first thing I noticed about this one was the packaging.  It’s a tube in a box.  It’s not my favourite.  I much prefer the packaging and delivery system of the tinting fluid that has a pump.  I find that much easier and I always get the exact amount out that I need.

The cream is a  lovely consistency and super easy to apply.  It just feels like I’m applying a moisturiser.  I love the finish that it gives, it’s very subtle and a light coverage but exactly perfect for what I like.  This gives a matte finish, which is what I was hoping for and I think this is the one I’ll be reaching for for the next few months at least.  I really love the Madara products.

Dr. Hauschka Eyeshadow Trio 04 Sunstone

I always seem to wear taupe and brown eyeshadows so I thought whilst sampling something from the Dr. Hauschka range, I’d always select something slightly different so I chose a palette with a pink colour in it.  I’ve been wearing this for the last week and it’s really lovely.  I was pleased to see a brush on the end of the generic eyeshadow sponge applicator.  It makes it far easier if you’re doing your makeup on the go.

The lightest shade would double up as a lovely highlighter and I’ve been using this first as a base shadow and under my eyebrows.  I then go in with the pink and apply it all over my lids and I use the (I know it’s still brown, but it’s so pretty!)  brown just at the outer edges and in the sockets.  I love the finish it gives.  The shadows aren’t very strongly pigmented but they’re very effective and enough.  I’m enjoying using this shadow palette and I’ll be continuing to use this for some time.
