The LoveLula Beauty Box – December 2021 landed at the usual time (around the 11th) and, as always, I was super excited to see what was inside. The LoveLula Beauty Box is my favourite subscription box and, in my opinion, the best value clean beauty one available. You always get a good selection of products and the value of the box is way more than you pay. The subscriptions start from £12.73 and the value of this month’s box is £51. So, what’s inside?
PHB Ethical Beauty – 2-in-1 Shampoo & Body Wash
I really like the ethics behind PHB Beauty. This product is natural (obviously), organic, vegan, cruelty-free and handmade. This shampoo and body wash is fragrance-free and I do prefer a scent to my products. It’s quite a runny product so you need to be careful that you don’t get too much out when you’re using it. It cleanses really beautifully and doesn’t feel like it strips oils from my skin or hair so it’s very gentle. You can see this product here.
Balm Balm Frankincense Light Facial Oil
I love that this facial oil comes in a glass bottle. It has a dropper dispenser. Frankincense is one of my favourite essential oils and very festive for this time of year. It’s combined with apricot kernel, evening primrose, jojoba and rosehip oils. This is so good and nourishing for my skin and I really like the way it smells. A lovely product to find in this month’s box. You can see this product here.
Madara Active AHA Brightening Peel Mask
I’ve written about this beautiful mask before. It’s a sample size product but there is easily enough for at least a couple of uses in this tube. I found after using this face mask, my moisturiser absorbed into my skin better. It is packed with fruit acids that work really well on my skin and I feel like it leaves me glowing. I like to use this mask a couple of times a month. You can see this product here.
Madara Time Miracle Hydra Firm Hyaluron Concentrate Jelly
Another good-sized sample from Madara. I actually have the full-size product of this so I already know I love it. I like to use mine underneath a light moisturiser, almost like a serum but it’s a great stand-alone product. It absorbs in quickly and makes my skin feel firmer. You can see the full-sized product here.
The Castilian Soap Company – Castilian Soap Lemongrass
I’m a big fan of this soap and have reviewed it a few times before. The lemongrass soap is a lovely and fresh fragrance. If you haven’t tried this soap before, I highly recommend you do. It’s the brand we always have on hand in our kitchen and it also frequents our bathroom along with Alteya Organics. Those are the two brands we favour in our house, hand soap wise. It doesn’t lather up horribly like a product containing SLS, it leaves your hands feeling clean yet still moist.
Thank you for reading my review of the LoveLula Beauty Box – December 2021. I look forward to sharing more with you in the new year. Wishing you all a lovely festive period.
