The LoveLula Beauty Box – February 2020

The LoveLula Beauty Box - February 2020

Disclosure

It’s my favourite time of the month again.  The LoveLula box delivery has arrived.  This month’s box is worth £44!  Always such good value when you consider how inexpensive the subscription is.

If you’d rather watch this unboxing, rather than read it, here is the video.

Here’s what’s in this month’s box.

Ooh! – Oils of Heaven Natural Raspberry Repairing Face Oil

Ooh! - Oils of Heaven Natural Raspberry Repairing Face Oil

I love the Ooh! Oils Of Heaven packaging.  It’s always glass and the larger bottles like this one come with a glass pipette dropper, which I like.  The first thing I noticed about this oil is the beautifully rich colour of it.  “Raspberry seed oil is rich in essential fatty acids, possessing a superior anti-inflammatory quality, making it perfect for acne-prone skin.  It’s also nature’s answer for dehydrated and sensitive skin”.  You can buy this product here.

Rescue My. Hair™ Pollution Patrol Shampoo Bar

Rescue My. Hair™ Pollution Patrol Shampoo Bar

I knew I would love this product.  I recently reviewed one of the Rescue My. Hair shampoo bars.  This was the smell I noticed when I first opened this month’s LoveLula Beauty Box.  It smells like the sweets parma violets.  The fragrance is this bar is cucumber and violet.  I love the smell!  This zero-waste shampoo bar is a wonderful alternative to the plastic bottle.  I’ve found the trick to making a shampoo bar work for my long hair, is by applying the lather from the bar to my hair and washing it with that.  Using a little is the key.  It washes my hair beautifully and leaves it clean and fresh.  I do need to use a conditioner afterwards because I do have long, quite thick hair.

Laidbare For Richer For Porer ‘Miracle’ Mask

Laidbare For Richer For Porer 'Miracle' Mask

I adore a face mask.  It’s the best kind of self-care for me.  This gorgeous face mask is packed with nourishing ingredients such as kaolin clay, Japanese seaweed extract, shea butter, liquorice and rose water.  This mask is perfect for oily or combination skin.  This mask requires you to leave it on for 10 minutes, which is a good amount of time.  I love that this also has a natural exfoliation.  You can buy this product here.

Ayumi Turmeric Face Cream

Ayumi Turmeric Face Cream

I have the shower gel in this range and a body wash from the same brand.  Ayumi is a brand I really like.  This is a 20ml tube, so not a full-size product, making it perfect for travel.  I love the smell of this exfoliator and it has really gentle buffing properties.  A great product and I will buy the full-size one when this runs out, for sure.  I love the price point of the Ayumi range too, it’s really affordable.  You can buy it here.

Laidbare DIY! Two In One Cleanser & Toner

Laidbare DIY! Two In One Cleanser & Toner

Another smaller size product (which pleases me because I needed a new cleanser to take away with me when I go away).  This has been lovely to try.  It cleanses my skin really well without stripping away my natural oils.  I love a gel cleanser.  It’s said to “reduce inflammation, tone and strengthen the skin with liquorice and aloe vera extracts”.

If you want to subscribe to the LoveLula Beauty Box, here is the link.  I cannot recommend it highly enough.  It’s my favourite subscription box and offers amazing value for money.
