The LoveLula Beauty Box – October 2020

It’s officially autumn.  I always slightly change my skincare routine during the colder months.  This month’s LoveLula Beauty Box – October 2020 gives us the perfect essentials to look after our skin.  See below to discover the contents.  This month’s box is worth £55.  You can buy a subscription here.  It really is the best value beauty box around, in my opinion.  It’s always full of the most beautiful green beauty products.

If you’d rather watch the unboxing video than read about the box, here is the unboxing video.

Here is what’s inside.

Moi Vert Natural Deodorant – Fragrance Free

Moi Vert Natural Deodorant - Fragrance Free review

Moi Vert is a brand that is new to me.  I only ever wear natural deodorants (as do my family) so this was a lovely addition to find in the box.  It comes in a glass jar with a screw-top lid.  To use it, you can a pea-sized amount and apply to dry underarms.  This one is fragrance-free.  Now, whilst there is no added fragrance, you can smell the shea butter which I find, once rubbed in, disappears.  It’s a really effective deodorant and I’ll be using this until it’s all gone.

Laidbare Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow! Hair Minimising Cream

Laidbare Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow! Hair Minimising Cream

Another lovely full-sized product.  I’m quite sure we’ve actually had this in a box before – January 2018 – you can read that post here.  It comes in a tube with a squeezy bottom.  It smells citrusy and fresh.  It’s quite a liquidy product so be careful when you squeeze it out.  Now, I very rarely shave my legs so I’m not sure how effective it is at minimizing your hairs, but I have heard other people say that it makes them finer, which is good.  Either way, it works great as a moisturiser.  You can buy this product here.

Emani Hydrating Lip Colour Ava

Emani Hydrating Lip Colour Ava review

Emani is one of my absolute go-to brands for makeup.  I regularly use their products, including eye shadows, blusher and mattifying face powder.  I was really pleased to find one of their lipsticks in this box.  It comes in a really pretty case inside a cardboard box.  The shade is exactly the sort of shade I would have chosen (well done LoveLula!).  It’s a pinky neutral shade.  Applying it, it feels like a very thick formula and you have to press quite hard.  I have found this to be really long-lasting.  You can buy this here.

Balm Balm Little Miracle Rosehip Serum

Balm Balm Little Miracle Rosehip Serum review

Yet another full sized product.  The products in this month’s box have all been full-sized so far.  This Little Miracle Serum is fantastic.  This is the product I was referring to at the beginning of this post.  I pull rosehip oil out when my skin needs a little something extra.  Rosehip oil is high in essential fatty acids and antioxidants.  It’s great for mature skin and fab for cell regeneration.

This beautifully rich blend of rosehip, jojoba and borage oils generously infused with frankincense, rose geranium, palmarosa, juniper and mandarin essential oils will literally feed your skin, allowing it to breathe, even out texture and feel totally rejuvenated.

You can purchase this Little Miracle Oil from here.
