Whether I’m doing Veganuanry or not, I often tend to have the same breakfast. Porridge. Ordinarily, it’s made with mostly water and topped up with a drop of raw cows milk. We can’t get raw cows milk anymore so I’ll be sticking to a plant-based milk whatever happens after Veganuary. Porridge can be a bit of a faff to make so I’m pleased to be trying these Nutribuddy breakfast shakes.
My Nutribuddy kit arrived on Thursday. It was really carefully packaged with a little note that explained the packaging can be reused to recycled. It arrived nestled safely in the box. I love that the powder comes in a glass jar with a flip top lid. I’ll absolutely reuse the jar (already decided I’m going to put flour in it). The shaker bottle is lovely – my daughters have tried pinching it, which is always testament that a product is a winner!
Inside the box was also my Nutribuddy shaker and the little scoop to measure out the amount you need. I chose Chocolate Brownie flavour, because who doesn’t want a chocolate brownie for breakfast???
Nutribuddy is great if you like clean eating and if you want a quick and nutritious breakfast. The shakes contain a nutritious blend of organic oats, seeds and coconut. Every option on their website is available in a vegan option. Filling and great for keeping you going all morning. Each shake is really low in calories at just 114kcal per 30g serving! That’s less than half of the calories of my usual breakfast so I’m eager to see how I get on.
I’m going to report back in two weeks time, once I’ve given the shakes a really good trial to let you know how I get on and what my thoughts are. I’ll also be sharing a code on my Instagram for a discount. Thanks for reading.
