Indie Beauty Mother’s Day Gift Guide 2023

Mother’s Day is fast approaching and it’s more important than ever to put your money where your mouth is.  We need to support small businesses or we won’t have any left.  I’m seeing so many small beauty brands disappearing at the moment, and it’s so heartbreaking.  I thought I’d put together an Indie Beauty Mother’s Day Gift Guide 2023 gift guide of wonderful brands you can support this year, and buy something your mum/mother figure or even as a hint to someone to buy for you will really appreciate.

Nourish London

Nourish London body duo

Made Kind

Made Kind Hand Wash & Lotion duo

I was recently sent this duo and I will definitely be purchasing more from the Made Kind website.  These are eco-friendly, in glass bottles, refillable and packed with nourishing ingredients to really look after your hands.  They smell Heavenly and make the perfect gift for any person in your life.

Tam Mason

Tam Mason Mother's Day Gift Set

This lovely brand are based quite locally to me.  This Nourishing Hand Care Gift Box contains their best-selling Bergamot & Blood Orange Hand Scrub presented on a turned wooden dish, our little wooden spoon and a bottle of our luxurious Nourishing Hand Oil.  I’ve been using their hand oil for a while now and my hands always feel beautiful afterwards.

Raven Botanicals

Raven Botanicals Ultra Hydrating Serum Review

My mum is the fussiest person when it comes to skincare.  She’s been using the same toxic brand for years and years.  Upon trying this magical serum, she fell in love immediately, and let me tell you, that’s quite a miracle.  I’d been trying to get rid of her toxic brand for the longest time!  This award-winning Ultra Hydrating Serum is an absolute staple in my makeup bag and would make a perfect Mother’s Day gift.  It has a very gentle, beautiful fragrance and sinks into your skin perfectly.  I use mine every day, under my moisturiser.

Pretty Special Beauty

Pretty Special Beauty Box Of Dreams

Another of my favourite beauty brands is Pretty Special Beauty.  I discovered them during the pandemic and fell in love.  I recommend the Box Of Dreams, which has been specially curated to help you get a good night’s sleep.  The packaging is stunning and the contents are even more beautiful!  Also, if you’re popping along to the website, do also check out their skincare.  It’s top-tier!

Leonie Botanics

Leonie Botanics review

I have a whole blog post coming soon about Leonie Botanics.  I discovered this brand last year and I’ve been using their night oil ever since and my skin, in my opinion, is looking and feeling really good.  I love the ethics of Leonie Botanics, they’re cruelty-free, they don’t use any palm oils or anything that will cause harm to the planet and every ingredient is really thoughtfully included to nourish your skin.

Willow & Finn

Willow & Finn homeware, botanicals and candles

Willow & Finn are a wellness, botanical and soy wax candle retailer.  I follow them on Instagram and long to visit their shop.  The candles and soy wax melts smell so good so I can just imagine what it’s like to be in the shop in person.  Thankfully, they have a fully stocked website to keep me going until I make it there!  You will definitely find the perfect gift there.

B&W The Collection

B&W The Collection

B&W The Collection.  The B&W stands for beauty and wellness.  I follow them on Instagram too.  This wonderful female-founded beauty brand have a Mother’s Day edit for just £35 at the moment.  It contains the lovely goodies as photographed above.  That eye mask looks super luxurious! I’ve tried this brand before and I can testify that their body butter is beautiful.

Mumanu

Mumanu review

Another gorgeous brand that’s close in location to me is Mumanu.  Based in Somerset, their balms are *the* perfect consistency.  Everything is ethically sourced, fair trade and plastic free.  I highly recommend giving this affordable brand a try, whether it’s for yourself or as a gift.  The founder, Sam, is a massage therapist with over two decades of experience so she really knows her stuff.

Ezape Naturals

Ezape Naturals review

Ezape Naturals is a small, family-run business and their wonderful body butters are made in small batches here, in the UK.  The products are made from сеrtіfіеd оrgаnіс, nutrіеnt-rісh, unrеfіnеd аnd соld-рrеѕѕеd іngrеdіеntѕ so super nourishing for your skin.  I have been using this same gift set photographed above and it’s been utterly beautiful for my skin.

Beauty Kin

Beauty Kin review

Beauty Kin make incredible bars.  I use mine every time I shower.  I have strawberry skin on my arms and it works wonders for it.  They’re a super-friendly brand and are really helpful too.  These bars not only nourish your skin but also target skin problems such as back acne, dry skin and the aforementioned strawberry skin too.  They’re plastic-free and are a delight to use.  The bars are ergonomically shaped to contour around your body so super easy to use.  All the bars are created and manufactured in the UK.  Very affordable and they’d make a wonderful gift.

I hope you have a wonderful day, if you’re celebrating, and that you’ve found my Indie Beauty Mother’s Day Gift Guide 2023 helpful.
