I love reading other peoples favourites posts. I find it interesting to read what people are enjoying each month. Here’s what I’ve been enjoying over the last month.
My February 2020 Favourites
I’m still continuing to enjoy Borderlands: The Handsome Collection on the Xbox, as was a favourite in January.
The Lives We Touch by Eva Woods
I’ve read How To Be Happy by Eva Woods two years ago and really enjoyed it. When this book hit my radar, I just had to read it. I’m glad I did. It was hard to put down, I just wanted to know what was going to happen. I need to know if she was going to wake up from her coma. It kept me gripped until the end.
There are a few people that I follow on YouTube and I find myself really looking forward to their next video.
My best friend has recently started a YouTube channel and it goes without saying that I love her videos. She talks about baking and food, floristry, she does unboxing videos and we’ve done a green beauty video together. You can find her channel here and I know she’d be forever grateful if you’d subscribe to her channel.
Eamon & Bec upload a video every Sunday about vanlife and their travels. They’re currently in Africa (Morocco) and I’ve been following their journey for the last few months. They’re such a beautiful couple and so upbeat and lovely. You can’t not love them (and their gorgeous van Trinity).
I’m actually only halfway through this series because we go through phases of watching TV and rarely switching it on. We’re currently going through the latter at the moment. I’ve really enjoyed the first three episodes of this. It’s pretty gripping. Who is the stranger and where has Corinne gone?? We will soon see.
Grace and Frankie
My mum and I always watch this together and, again, we’re only halfway through this latest season (Season 6) and it’s, as usual, made us laugh out loud. This season they’re talking about the difficulties of getting older and Grace, having married a younger man, is struggling to adapt to her new home and it’s low sofas and low toilet.
On a whim, I decided we should stretch the exposure and go somewhere even further afield and so I suggest Wales!! I did it!! Obviously we went in the van so we could stay overnight and we found the nicest place to park up ever. It was in Newport. We went into a pub for a drink and they insisted we take the dogs and it was just so lovely. The weather, however, was horrid, in the midst of yet another storm. We headed for home the next morning, so we weren’t there for long, but the point is, I made it there.
Biodegradable Poo Bags
Last summer, whilst we were away in the van, MrLovely needed to do a number 2 so decided to let one go al fresco. It was a pretty remote spot so he thought it would be fine. It wasn’t fine. Mid squat, a pair of dog walkers wandered past him and he could do nothing other than greeting them hello. These bags made me think of that. I thought these would be perfect for him to keep in the van should the moment ever occur again. You can find these bags here.
February is quite a month for us, birthday wise. It’s mine, then my step daughter’s and then Lissy’s. This year was a big one for me. I turned 40. I was a little mortified before realised that ageing is a privilege. We woke up at our local seaside and spent the day with friends and family. It was really lovely. MrLovely bought me a gorgeous charm from Pandora to remind me of my age.
All in all, February was a good month. Hope you all had a lovely one too. Thanks for reading My February 2020 Favourites.
